Steep incline conveyors are advanced systems for continuous transportation of bulk materials, designed to operate at significant angles of inclination that exceed the capabilities of standard belt conveyors.
These systems allow loads to be moved vertically or at angles of up to 90 degrees.
The main difference between these conveyors is the specialized design of the conveyor belt and supporting elements, which ensures reliable material retention on steep inclines.
There are various types of inclined conveyors, including:
- With corrugated sides (chevron strips): The belt is equipped with special side corrugations and/or transverse partitions (chevron profiles) that prevent the material from rolling off.
- Tubular conveyors: The belt is formed into a closed tube, which completely isolates the material from the external environment and allows it to be transported at steep angles.
