Overground mine cableway (DNShK)

The basis of the road is a closed traction cable, which is moved by a drive station.

Freight carts or passenger chairs are attached to this cable. Movement takes place along a rail track laid on the ground of the mine. Special track rollers and blocks are installed along the entire length of the route to support and guide the traction cable. Turnouts are used at turns and junctions of the track.

There are different types of roads (circular, pendulum), which allows you to organize movement in both directions and reciprocating.

The main purpose of the DSHK is to ensure transportation in difficult mining conditions, namely:

• In workings with variable profiles and significant angles of inclination.
• Where the use of locomotive traction or other types of transport is impossible or economically impractical.
• For the delivery of equipment, materials, rock, and transportation of personnel to the work site.

The main area of application is the mining industry, in particular:

• Coal mines.
• Mines for the extraction of minerals.
• Transportation of rock to dumps.

• Versatility: Ability to transport both cargo and people.
• Passability: Effective operation in areas with difficult terrain and slopes where other vehicles cannot pass.
• Reliability: The design is capable of operating in harsh climatic and production conditions.
• Flexibility: Ability to create branched transport networks using turnouts.
• Safety: Special safety requirements are provided, especially when transporting people.
